TumblrSlider: A Vivid Photoset For Everyone

Maybe you’ve seen this already, or maybe you haven’t.

But I tell you, a tumblrslider tells a different story. 

What is a tumblr slider?

It’s an image slider with jQuery effects. And to be honest, it creates a vivid imagery for the boring tumblr photoset.

Since I find myself “lacking” to fully describe it, I’ll just give you an example. And the best one to fully convince everyone how great a tumblrslider is none other done the Atlantic Noir Theme by stylehatch.

If you’ve already seen a site using this premium tumblr theme, then you probably know what I’m talking about. But if you haven’t, then I suggest that you view it and scroll down to the slider part. 

How can I have that slider on my site?

The tumblrslider is a script inspired by jQuery Kill Photoset. But this slider, is specifically made for tumblr. As per the author of the script has mentioned, “Tumblr photsets sucks [and]  this small plugin for jQuery takes those awful photosets and create a very simple slideshow.”

You can find the jQuery scripts at Google Libraries. 
Note: You need both jQuery scripts to make jQuery work on your site.

By the way, I haven’t fully “worked” on my tumblrslider so I can’t really give a helping hand to those who encounter problems with it. The photo above is all thanks to the Atlantic Noir working on my tester site.
