I call them my “lipstick on-the-go” because these are the type of lippies that I use when I’m not feeling bold or fiery, or I dunno know what lipstick color should I use. To put it simply, these are the “playing safe” lipsticks in my collection.
Sorry, individual lipstick shots did not turn out pretty. :( And I’m tad bit lazy today and I don’t want to re-do the shots.
I’ve listed down my top 5 Lipstick on-the-go. They’re listed down in no particular order.
1. Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Muavey
By simply looking at the lipstick, you’ll think that this will pass for a nude or skin color. But no it isn’t skin, nude probably. I love how it colors my lips into a light old rose-ish color. And it really looks pretty natural when worn.
2. NYX Round Lipstick in Thalia
I don’t know how to describe Thalia’s color. Because it’s like Old Rose, but not really. At first glance, you’ll think that it’s a dark lipstick but it’s actually pretty nice when put on. It will make your lips appear to be a shade darker. The color is not intense so there’s no need to worry that your lips will look dark or something.
3. Maybelline’s Watershine Pure in P11
This is like my all-time favorite lipstick. At first glance it’s like it’s a Barbie Pink lipstick. But Watershine Lipstick are more of moisture and not pigment. When you put this on, your lips will look a little pinkish but not screaming PINK.
4. Avon Ultra Rich Moisture Lipstick in Skin
Though it says that this is a skin-tone-kind of lipstick, on my lips it’s more of coral. It’s a lovely shade of peach. Perfect for everyday use.
5. NYX Round Lipstick in Iconic
It’s like a tad bit lighter shade of Thalia and a little more pinkish. When put on, your lips look really natural and a little bit pinkish.
And here’s my poor attempt in doing lipstick swatches.
