I used to have an awfully dry hair way, way back in elementary. And trust me, that’s the kind of hair that you wouldn’t dream of having. That’s all thanks to my constant “experimentation” with my hair. I already forgot the number of products that I used then (but they’re not really for the hair, ex. toothpaste!) but I was really fond of experimenting. In the end, I got a really coarse hair! I do remember always having my hair tied because it’s really, really dry and it looks really, really awful.
Luckily my hair recovered sometime in high school. But I have a really low self-esteem when it comes to my hair that’s why it took one hella time before I wear it down. In college, my friends keeps praising my hair - it seems that my hair is back at it’s former glory - and you dunno how much ego-boosting that is!
And right now, my hair is really, really dry thanks to the constant color treatment that I’ve had in the past… uhm…3 years I guess. Thank God it’s not yet as awful as I had back in elementary.
It’s really dry, yes?
The best possible solution to this is hair cut. I’ve suffered from dry hair for years and, yes, that’s really the best. But I want to grow my hair. I want to have a long beautiful hair. That’s why no matter how much I do want to cut it, I don’t.
And this is also the reason why I keep on trying out “quality” hair products. I’m still experimenting but not like the crazy kid that I used to be during my younger years. Now, I make sure that what I’m trying out on my hair is actually a hair product nonetheless.
Right now, I’m trying out Yves Rocher’s Nutrition Repairing Balm for Dry Ends. I’ve had it for weeks already, but I’m too lazy to try it out.
Today is the first time I’ve put it on my hair. I haven’t noticed any changes. I’ll probably make a review of this product sometime later when I’ve noticed the visible changes.
1. What are the hair products that you frequently use?
2. What hair products would you recommend to me to remedy my dry hair?
3. Do you think I should get a hair cut already?
Toodles ~ I need to go to the grocery to buy some supplies.
