Ceramide Face Mask

What is Ceramide?

Any of a group of amides formed by linking a fatty acid to sphinogosine. Ceramide constitutes over 50% of the hydrating factors found in the surface layer of the skin, and is responsible for hydrating and nourishing the skin so that is stays soft and smooth.

Directions:

  1. Wash face and apply toner. Remove mask sheet from package and unfold.
  2. Carefully fit mask over the face.
  3. Remove mask sheet after 15-20 minutes. Gently pat any remaining formula into skin.

Caution:

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if signs of irritation appear.

The main reason why I’ve picked this mask is because of the ‘hydration benefit’. It’s raining like crazy here in Manila for days now (or has it been weeks already?), because of that the weather is a little cold. And the cold weather can actually make your skin dry.

I’ve put this mask on for exactly 15 minutes. I’ve had a bad experience of having a mask on for a longer time than required, and the result is just bad. After 15 minutes, my skin feels really soft and supple. My skin is not dry, so it’s a little hard to determine if it really became “rehydrated”.

I’m happy with the effect of the mask. Plus, I really liked the cool feeling the mask has.
